npm start: webpack compile, ts transpile & start app  
npm dev: webpack compile, ts transpile & start node app with debugging

**login to server:**  
ssh schindler@planungsnavigator.raumgleiter.com  
  
the application files are in /home/schindler/as-schindler_planungsnavigator    
enter application folder, show files:  
cd as-schindler_planungsnavigator  
ls  
  
**administer application:**  
**systemctl** status planungsnavigator  
**systemctl start** planungsnavigator  
**sudo systemctl stop** planungsnavigator  
**systemctl restart** planungsnavigator  
**journalctl -u** planungsnavigator (logs)  

**update application:**  
**1. (on server):**    
sudo systemctl stop planungsnavigator  
  
**2. (on local machine): this will overwrite the files on the target server!**  
scp -r "/path/to/as-schindler_planungsnavigator" **schindler@planungsnavigator.raumgleiter.com:**  
z.B: (PRODUCTION):  
scp -r C:\\_DEV\\_PRODUCTION\\as-schindler_planungsnavigator  **schindler@planungsnavigator.raumgleiter.com:**  
  
**3. (on server):**  
sudo systemctl start planungsnavigator
