# Dynamic Options and Scenes
Disclaimer: This is an advanced topic! Make sure to gain a good understanding of the usual logic of the configurator before reading this.

## Introduction Dynamic Options
 - Please check this set of example armatures:
   - Quooker FlowNova Black, Quooker FlowNova Chrome
   - Franke HRS14 Chrome Polished, Franke HRS14 Chrome Brushed
 - The user can select a faucet manufacturer and then a color. The color is only available for the selected manufacturer.
 - This is done in strapi. Open the Option of the manufacurer. In each Variant select the Option that should be available for that Variant as dependent_option. The option also needs to be added to the scene.

Warning: Please note that this topic can lead to a conflict between the needs of the user and the real estate developer. The manufacutrer usually has a pricing for each final parquet product (Smoked Oak with large boards CHF 1'400.-) while users would rather choose the material and format individually (Smoked Oak CHF 0.-, Large boards CHF 1'400.-). Usually the need of the user is more important and the developer needs to split up the pricing.

## Introduction Dynamic Scenes
 - Please check this set of example client decisions:
   - Would you like tiles in the living room? These are not available in the bedroom.
   - If yes: Which parquet would you like in the bedrooms?
   - If no: Allright, that's all. We'll use the same material for the bedrooms.
 - If the user selects tiles in the living area, they need to chose a parquet in the bedrooms. Different parquets are not allowed (bad UX), but limitations are fine.
 - This is done in strapi. Open the Option of the floor. In the tile Variant select the bedroom Scene. The Scene also needs to be added to the Configurator.
