# DEMO React App for NewsFeed FrontEnd

This project is a demo of a React app for the NewsFeed FrontEnd.\
It consumes the [NewsFeed API](https://git.raumgleiter.com/web/apps/4731_oase-news_reel_backend) and displays the news in a collapsible list.\
The app uses the Axios Library for making HTTP requests and Mui Components.\
Changes to the production database will be displayed with this app.\

## Development
For development, create an .env.local file in the **ROOT** directory of the project, with the following contents (replace values with keepass RGNewsFeed API USER Entry Values):

```REACT_APP_USER_NAME=<your username>```

```REACT_APP_USER_PASSWORD=<your-user-password>```

```
## Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

### `npm start`

Runs the app in the development mode.\
Open [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000) to view it in your browser.
The page will reload when you make changes.\
You may also see any lint errors in the console.

### `npm run build`

Builds the app for production to the `build` folder.\
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance. The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes. Your app is ready to be deployed!.

The app is hosted in our "DATA" webserver under the following URL:\
