Section 01

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Darwaza Enterprise portal (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any operational guidelines published from time to time. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

These terms apply to all users — employees, contractors, partners, and anyone granted credentials by the Platform administrator.

Section 02

Eligibility & access

Access is granted only to individuals authorised by Darwaza Enterprise. Your credentials are personal — you must not share them, attempt to access another user's account, or use the Platform on behalf of someone else without explicit authorisation.

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and MFA factors secure.
  • You must immediately notify the IT Security desk if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • The Platform may be accessed only from devices that meet our endpoint-security baseline.
Section 03

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Platform lawfully, ethically, and in accordance with internal policy. You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any workflow or approval form.
  • Upload malware, executables, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, scrape data at scale, or reverse-engineer Platform components.
  • Use the Platform to harass, defame, or discriminate against any individual or group.
  • Extract personal data of colleagues for purposes outside your assigned role.
Approvals are bindingAn approval issued through Darwaza is treated as your authoritative authorisation. Audit logs may be used in disciplinary, contractual, or legal proceedings.
Section 04

Content & submissions

You retain ownership of any original content you upload (e.g. attachments, comments). By submitting it, you grant Darwaza Enterprise a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and disclose that content for legitimate business purposes — including operating the Platform, responding to audits, and meeting legal obligations.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of submissions. We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

Section 05

Intellectual property

The Platform — including all software, design, logos, documentation, and trade marks — is the property of Darwaza Enterprise or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform except as expressly permitted in writing.

Section 06

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced via the Platform's notification banner. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or modify functionality for security, regulatory, or operational reasons.

Operational status is published at status.darwaza.app. Critical incidents are reported through the corporate communications channel within sixty minutes of detection.

Section 07

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darwaza Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform — including loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or reputational harm. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the cost of restoring affected services.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Section 08

Termination

Your access will be revoked automatically upon end of employment, contract, or partnership. We may also suspend or terminate access — with or without notice — if you breach these terms, present a security risk, or are subject to a disciplinary process. Upon termination, your operational data is retained per our records-management schedule and subsequently archived or deleted.

Section 09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Muscat, without prejudice to mandatory employment-law protections.
